The story
Twelve years in Jamaica, the rest here.
Tanesha is rooted in Moncton, New Brunswick, and the first twelve years of her life were spent in Jamaica. Everything since has been Canadian — university in Halifax, a stretch in Toronto, and then the deliberate choice to come back east and build something of her own here.
Nobody taught her this. The fitness came first and came honestly — yoga, strength work, the hanging bar, the kind of holds most people would need a month to attempt — and she has been at it longer than the current version of fitness content has existed. There was no plan to become a creator; there was a practice, and then an audience for it.
What her feed is actually about is ordinary life done properly: family, food, the week as it really goes. Jamaican cooking is the thread that never got dropped in any of the moves, and the challenges she runs are the part she likes most — the point was never to be watched doing it alone.
And she works wherever she is. Home or abroad, the content does not pause for a change of address.
She has been doing this longer than most of the feed she competes with — and it's brought her an audience that isn't chasing a trend either.
